I’m Ellie, a photographer with a degree in Marine and Natural History Photography. I grew up in the UK and am currently based in Gibraltar for the next two years. I began my working life in the military, following my family vocation, I became a medic. I soon realised that it was animals I wanted to help. Following this realisation, I developed an interest in Animal Photojournalism. My photography draws inspiration from traditional documentary techniques, using only natural light to create my images.

My ongoing project is called Unaccredited. This work documents zoos around Spain operating outside major European zoo accreditation bodies.
